Recently Sonu Nigam faced a situation that most men can only dream of being in! And the singer has only begun to learn the hazards of stardom and handling out of control female fans. Following a recent incident in South Africa where four female fans intruded on his privacy by landing up at the gym where he was working out, the latest is when a young girl rushed up to the podium and tried to kiss him when he was performing at Andheri Sports complex on Sunday night. The female fan was not ready to leave Sonu and when the security guards tried to pull her away from Sonu, she scratched the singer on his neck and left a outstanding scratch mark on his neck. The result is that Sonu's photo shoots for his new HMV album Rafi Resurrected has been postponed by 20 days.
Sonu's business manager Ben Thomas says, "We had to cancel the photo shoot as Sonuji has a huge scar on his neck and it very visible. The shoot will now take place after 20 days as we expect the scar to be healed by then."
Commenting on what exactly happened, Thomas says, "It all happened very suddenly and Sonuji had no to time to react. The girl just jumped on him and refused to leave him until he kissed her. Thankfully, the security guards came and pulled the girl away from Sonuji."
Sonu Nigam will complete the album's photo shoot after he comes back by May 6 from his Australia and New Zealand tour.
